Okay, so maybe I kind of lied.
But not really!

Haha, I'm always talking about how badly I would love to have a fahaka, but it is just not something I could have right now or anytime soon--I live in a small one bedroom apartment, and my fiance is in the Navy, so we will be moving soon, and often.
So today we bought a crowntail betta, and he said we would call him Fahaka, so I can brag to everyone that I finally got one... le'sigh...

Hahah He's a pretty fish, even if he isn't a real fahaka.

Ahaha, I'm glad you think so. I was like "........really??" Way to rub salt in the wounds.
There is definitely noooo space in this apartment for a legit fahaka. Two dogs, Lola, the 10 gal you gave me (thanks ), and possibly keeping up the 6 to do a nano marine tank is more than enough tim & space for us right now. Plus my surplus of furniture inhibits a large tank

Oh come on, I had a 110-55-10-5 in my 1 bedroom, although I live alone lol

LoL I have a 5, 10, 20 and now a "60" LoL in my one bedroom apartment with my BF and two dogs....I feel your pain though. It was only by a miracle and a half I was able to rearrange my living room to make space for the "60."

Oh, I totally relate, ILoveLola! My house is teeny-tiny and just can't fit as many tanks as I'd like to have. My dream tank is a 120 gallon tank full of huge fancy goldfish. But all I can fit (and keep up with maintenance on) is a 46 euro goldfish tank, and a 29 gallon puffer tank. Any more than that and I think people would assume they'd walked into the LFS instead of my house.

Very pretty fish. I know how it is to have no space for the tanks you want. I have a 36(bowfront), 29, 20 (tall), and 10 gallon, all in my room. I have a path around the bed, and to my door, that's it.

Thanks its just nit economically for me right now, aha. Props to everyone who manages it!
But like I said earlier, even if I had the room, what happens when we get stationed across the country? it would be heartbreaking
