Sorry guys, I created this thread to grab quick opinions for tanks on CLs. I might go look at this one tonight, so let me know what you all think please!

Ah ok, I was just going to ask you what you meant by that LoL. I emailed someone regarding a 70 gallon. No pics or dimensions, but she wants $250 for it...but it's brand new never used. Oh well. We will see what she says when she emails back. Actually just saw it wasn't advertised with a stand, so prolly not...

The first one is decent looking enough. Too bad it doesn't come with lights, but most likely anything you'd find on craigslist wouldn't come with a great light fixture anyway, at least that's how it is here. You'd have to buy powerheads, those marineland filters tend to be noisy, and noisier still when run with saltwater. The gravel and everything isn't really applicable either since you'll need arragonite. Since the tank is so tall, lighting may be a challenge.

On the third link:
Looks decent enough as well.
I wouldn't trust an Odysea heater, they are an off brand asian type company, and I think their stuff is ok enough, I have a few light fixtures by them, but from what I've read, I wouldn't trust the heater, since there are so many things that could go wrong with a heater that would be fatal.
Filter is caca, IMO.
The price is a bit steep still...
It would be great if you could find a tank that was set up as saltwater, then you can get the saltwater stuff with it, instead of a bunch of freshwater stuff you'll have to replace anyway.

Well I called him and he would take $135 for it minus the filter and heater. I like it, and I don't mind buying the other stuff for it. What do you think about the new price without the stuff? Problem I have is that this is cheapest I can get-- everyone else is doing saltwater tanks alraedy set up.

I want it, but my bf thinks he'll go lower if I wait >< grrr. What do you think??

I agree, and there may be a better deal out there too in the mean time.
