guys my puffer is still alive..
I can t take him out of the water because I love him so much and I want to help him..he is upside down and he is trying and trying to swim but no luck..
I change my water every saturday 40-50% and I clean substrate every day..
I noticed that one of the cleaning fish was attacking him, could that be a reason?
he is like that for 3 day now...the others are fine....

Is the cleaning fish a chinese algae eater? If so Id remove it, they get very aggressive and will attack your fish as they grow.
Have you tried to see if he has air inside him? Maybe thats why he is having trouble swimming.

I'm sorry your puffer is having such a rough time

Can you provide some of the questions in red? He sounds like he is on his last jazz fins, but if there is a chance he can pull through, we are going to need more information to troubleshoot the problem to find a solution.

I think it might be time for Clove Oil.
Funny story about my Banjo catfish. I was out of town for a week & I left Hubby (totally non-aquarium guy), in charge of my tanks. When I came home, he proudly told me he removed a dead fish for me & put it in the freezer. It was my very sedentary Banjo cat... OK, not so funny.

Clove oil, when overdosed, is an easy, painless way to euthanize a fish. Found in the toothpaste isle of your drug store--used for tooth aches.

Are you the original poster? I sure hope so, because if you're not, that's pretty heartless IMO. Your comment should be in your own thread, not that of a passing puff.

Ya.. Its simply a miracle!! Could U share how U manage to get him back into shape? Or the possible cause that U think that could be causing him the misery that time? Honestly.. Everyone thought he is a goner for sure.. Even pp suggested clove oil..
