Hey guys,

On PZ's 10g, I have a Aquatech 20-40 with a floss pad (? not sure if that's what it's called) and a carbon insert. I want to upgrade to a 30 gallon Aquaclear. What's the best way to do this? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Did you see the sale at big al's online on aquaclears?

Stuff the old media in with the new media.

either what seven said or if you have to room, run both. Either keep both or run both for about a month or two and then remove the old one

I might have to stuff. PZ has a hard time in the current because it's alot of current and I can't control the flow. He has a hard time getting his food. Hope that this works ok
/facepalm

Well as long as you guys think that is ok, I will go ahead and do that.

@seven, no I didn't see the sale-- I picked it up from Amazon for about $21 and free shipping LoL. I love Amazon Student Prime.

I think I've ordered from Amazon once or twice in my lifetime. It didn't add up to $79 dollars :/

Oh.... =/ nm then. Amazon is where I shop all the time. I get things for cheap and get them sent to my work so they come early in the day. I am going to take advantage of not paying sales tax while it lasts lol. Besides, all my dog treats are on there, and for about 1/4 of the price. Just bought 100, 6 inch bully sticks for $79.99 and for one of those singly, it's $8.99, and for a pack of 10, it's $24.99....I'll go to Amazon lol. My 6 month old German Pinscher is not very forgiving when he doesn't have chewies....

Yes, hehe Amazon is awesome. If I can wait a couple of days, I will buy from Amazon...if not, I will find it in the store...but most of the time I will buy from Amazon. PZ is loving the new filter, definitely using more of the swim space. Finally, the tank set up stage is complete, now I just have to get my F8 and enjoy the tanks LoL
