I got my Monotrete Baileyi eating pellets! (Video)

So, his favorite food is dried meal worms. What I do on the video is, put a floating pellet in the aquarium, then put a worm just by it, and just when he's about to snatch it I pull it up and he eats the pellet instead. He's not stupid, just a bit greedy

He's the most tame puffer I ever had, he wont hesistate to bite my hand if I put it down, and he always wants to come out of his aquarium when I enter the room. A real pet fish!

Cool video.
on a side not, most people here will agree that any dried food isnt the best for puffers. As a snack ok

I don't see why it's bad for them. It's high in nutrients and this one high in protein. It's quite hard for them to chew on which keeps their teeth short and nice. His main diet is worms/home made shrimp mixture though, but I always like to add some protein rich pellets to my puffers diet, if they take it, that is.

what do you put in the home made mixture?
Ya I wish I could get mine to eat pellets, could make a nice supplement

Whole shrimps, shell included, a fish called sill, unsure of the english name for it lol, peas, some pellets, some garlic and some banana to hold the mixture together. I think that's about it
