I bought a tank decoration today with minor damage for next to nothing and used two-stage 5 minute epoxy to repair it. I haven't put it in the tank yet, but I did want to ask and make sure that it wouldn't hurt anything. Think it'll be okay?

The 2 part epoxy, that is just pure epoxy with the hardener, has been used in many applications in fresh and marine. Double check the brand you used online, but it should be safe. It's fiber glass and certain things that aren't really safe.

if in doubt, once the area has been sealed you can go over it with aquarium silicone.
