Ares had two shrimp for dinner. He was suppose to fast today but he was mean mugging me and showing his chompers so I gave in. He's happy now....

He always digs that same spot out and lays in it. I put the sand back...he removes it...he's the boss!

LOL I quit "fixing" Bloats tank cause he would always just rearrange it. Makes since though, would you want someone coming into your house and moving evertyhing LOL

its so hard to make them fast for a day, they're such adept beggars.

He looks a bit obese. How much & how often are you feeding him & how long is he?

He is about 10-11 inches. I feed him 5-6 nights a week. He usually gets one 3inch shrimp or some other food equivalent in size. Somehow a rather large shrimp got put in my bag and that's the one I happened to grab on this night. I didn't realize my kids had also fed him an earthworm and some snails as well. He usually isn't this fat. I took pictures simply because he looked so fat.

At that size, he should only be eating 2x/week. You're killing him with kindness. Fatty liver disease & death will occur.
