I always get excited when I stumble across people's photos of their display tanks, I am always so stunned and inspired by everyone's creative eye. I also am really enjoying watching people build their own tanks. I thought it would be nice to be able to have a thread where everyone can show off their good work!
And of course it would help to see what works to keep them entertained, prevent window surfing, and just bounce ideas off of each other




This is my 20 gal that houses my F8, Lola. You can see her in the back right corner, admiring it. For the first week or two, she was more concerned about the black glue-stuff that holds the glass panels together than she was about all the nice plants and that tree-stump thing I got her. The stinker.

Ok, I'll post something when I get on my PC, if I post it from my phone it will be ginormous.

My favorite tank(have 5 of them) right now, will probably change once my SW tank is done

this has gotten a few more plants and the old ones have gotten split and larger. looks a lot nicer now. i will try to get an updated picture asap.

oh yeah and i took out the bamboo. actually its not even remotely the same haha! ill get a new pic after work tomorrow

Dr, mine has changed some too, but not very drastically. Just rearranged a few plants, stuck one in my snail tank, got rid of two of the clam shells.

I really like coral, and petsmart sells really pretty fake coral, but i somehow don't see it matching with my plants and wood theme & bg i've got going on, haha. Did anyone see PP's post that had a picture of one of her old 55 gallons, for a former GSP i think..? GORGEOUS. i like colors. and ranting..

All, well all but 1, the plants in that tank were bought at micheals and then glued to some rocks so they would stay down. Cost me all of 10 bucks to plant that tank and my GF's 29.

xray, that's such a good idea! what kind of glue did you use, i'm always really hesitant to do anything like that. The only cool thing I use is shells found at the beach (the gorgeous conch i have my fiance found in pensacola), and i mean, how adventurous is that? Fish? With shells? Hahahah.
i love the stand & the variety of plants in the second one you posted. michaels is looking a lot better than petsmart.

I just used aquarium sealant to glue them down. Easy and fish friendly

As always PP you blow me away with your SW tanks. Do you have to do anything special food wise for the corals?

2nd pic is all fake. Most corals are photosynthetic, so good lighting is all they need but I do feed all the ones with mouths.
