Feeding GSP Worms?

Hi all! It's me again. I was told that I can feed my GSP earthworms for a little filling dinner for him. I haven't fed him for two days because I have been away from school. Is there a special way to prepare the earthworms? Should I freeze them first then thaw them out in aquarium water like how I was informed to do with fresh seafood? Or can I just let the earthworm soak up in a separate cup of the aquarium water with the earthworm in it and feed it live to my GSP? THANK YOU ALL!

You can order vitachem online affordably, I don't have anything like that in my area either.

One of the only foods I don't soak in vits are live Earthworms. They're vitamin-packed meaty goodness!

I rinse them off under the Pur filter tap, but I don't soak them either. Everything else I do, but earthworms don't seem very absorbent either way.

Sounds like a new thing to add to the menu.

Are the worms sold at bait shops or sporting goods stores OK to feed like this?

Thank you all for your input! I just got mine from my backyard at home if that makes a difference. I didn't want to cut them in half so I just gave him a decently small one yesterday. I also just washed the worm out in water and then dropped him in. Chewy loved it

I feed my puffs red wigglers worms once a week. My worms are small, so they can fit into my small puffer's mouth easily. I once threw in a large worm from the bait shop. My puffs shred it to pieces, which caused pieces of worms to spread throughout my tank. I had to do a water change the following day.
