Frozen food blocks

Tonight I decided to make frozen food blocks. I like to feed my puffs a variety of foods so I made my own medley. I bought shrimp, talapia, clams, mussels and scallops from the grocery. I chopped them all up and mixed them. I then put portions of my medley into icecube trays and filled the trays with declorinated water and put it in the freezer. Tomorrow I'm gonna pop out the frozen cubes and store in the freezer in ziplocks. Now everynight (or the nights I don't feed with worms) I just have to defrost a cube and voilĂ , cubes seafood medley! Not sure if anyone else does this but I just wanted to share.

Don't accidentally put them in your iced tea!!!

Next time I do this I plan on actually using vitamin water. I ran out of vitamin drops this go round.

I would use vitamin water diluted with nonchorinated water.

or distilled water... +1 on the vitamin water.

I have done this with my shrimps... it got to be a PITA so a contacted a manufacturer and got a half decent deal on a resell product.
