my puffer had something that was orange and looked kinda thick for poop coming out of his bum. do any of you guys no what this is?

It's a poop after eating too much, most likely. I have seen what you're talking about before. I wouldn't worry, unless it looks like a worm.

it kinda did look like a worm but it was thick i dont think my puff could of passed a worm that thick and after he droped it the shrimp started eating it this normal? and if it was a worm would he poo worms all the time or just once like would there be eggs in his colon?

It's just pufferpoo.
