RIP my beloved Congo

My fav. puffer passed on today. When i was doing a water change I knock his tank lid into the water and crashed him. I am super upset at my shelf so everyone please learn from me and completly remove the tank lid.

Oh no! I hate when I do something stupid & preventable to kill my fish. I have sucked up 3 puffers now into my intake, by not covering it after cleaning the filter.

yes I will be getting a new congo i love those little guys. There just hard to find in Houston tx

Sorry for your loss.
Pufferpunk has the most vivid red congo I have seen in my life. They are available on aquabid fairly often. Thatpetplace also stocks them each year. I got my orange one from them (he just had a tragic accident as well) and was very happy him.

I know it's a bit far, but Amazonia in Austin carries them often and so does North Waco Fish. I only paid $25 for P-nut in Waco and $80 for Bevo in Austin. If you go to Amazonia on Sunday you get 20% off all fish.
