So I got a new 100gallon drilled tank. It has a single 1" bulkhead in each of the upper corners on the back of the tank. I'm sure the actual plumbing can't be too hard, I just want to make sure I do it right. So if anyone could offer some tips/advice, that would be great.

Also, about how much gph should the two holes be draining? Is there a way to figure this out?

On the subject of drainage , I believe it depends on your return pump ! Because 1" bulkhead is the norm from what I understand! NOt a 100 % on this but Im sure some others can help you better than I can!

What are your plans for this tank?

it's the future upgrade for my GSP tank. It will have a 55 gallon sump. I will be making sure it had the best filtration possible.

Also, I will be dealing with live rock for the first time. Most likely will be looking at buying used rock since there really is no where locally that sells it. There's only ever 1 or 2 pieces at petco, but they are $25 a piece. Does anyone have any advice for live rock?

is the dry rock good to use when mixed with live rock? does it get seeded from the live rock?
