For approx two and a half weeks now I have had problems with my little fangs puffer. It started after a meal of prawns when I noticed the next couple of days after, his body shape didn't return to 'normal'. I only feed him twice weekly but he has a top up of small snails regularly. He has eaten a few days after that meal but nothing now for over two weeks.
He is quite obviously in some distress with panting and very rapid gill movements. The water params are fine and he seems to swim ok - no trapped wind.
I am almost convinced that he is constipated badly or there is a blockage(snail shell???).
I have tried feeding a pea but as he is not interested in food this hasn't worked.I have tried 2 x 15mins epsom salt 'baths' and so far this week I have done 2 x 50% and 1 x 90% water changes.
He is not getting any better and is breathing very hard.
I am looking for some help/suggestions.

Try adding 1 tbsp epsom salt/10g & up it to 1 tbsp/5gal in a couple of days, rather than a "bath".

Tried everything I could think of to save this little one. I have had him around a year and he hasn't grown any at all. Five weeks without eating and still looking bloated he was being blown around by the current of the filter. Enough was enough and I had to end it for him. He has gone.

Sad news for sure. I know you did everything you could for the little guy.
