becareful with that algae eater, they are known to be come very aggressive as they get older and will attack and killer larger fish.
But thats awesome that he lets them live in the tank with him. Mine let a molly live with him for a few weeks, then i skipped a feeding lol

I really like those pictures, he looks so content laying with his friend!
Sigh... My gsp has a dumb little lyretail molly for his bestie. I really just put him in temporarily to eat some of the hair algae and see if Balki would be ok with any tankmate. But after a little bit of time, I removed the molly (Orangjello) and put him in another tank. At first, Balki didn't notice, then when he did, boy was he upset. He zipped around looking for him, and then when he couldn't find him he paced violently in each corner. I put Oragjello back in, and he swam over, made sure he was ok, and then resumed his normal activities.
So, I am stuck with this dumb looking little fish.
It's super cute when predators make friends with would-be prey.

Yes it's very risky I just don't want to separate them as puffers are moody. If it ends in death then... Well what can I do lol

I have a convict in with my 11in fahaka and they have been together for a couple of years now.
They chase eachother around, sleep side by side, and even steal food from one another when its feeding time.
I understand that it may only be a matter of time until Pockey turns on the little guy, but its nice to watch them for now.

He may or me may not. Time will tell... My 12 year old 12" fahaka lives with a bunch of tank mates. Some as old as himself. Others didn't last a day.
