I need to get a picture of the little gal I have right now!
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

This might be a silly question but do bettas not need decor or gravel ?

Those look like breeder boxes, floating boxes that are usually used for livebearers. They're popular for putting fish into for pictures. :)

I have two. The blue one is Oji my crowntail male, who is a lot more impressive when he's not hiding behind his log; the pink one is Artemis my VT female.

Thanks guys for sharing your pics, I was interested to see how many other people keep bettas. Right now I'm searching for black plakat but from what I heard they are extremely rare to see. Last time I saw one was about 6 years ago.
