My girlfriend's brother's tank...

So My girlfriend's brother, lets call him Fred, decided to start a 30 gallon tank about a month ago, its been cycling for a little while, and about a week ago he added his fish from his overstocked 10 gallon to it. They included a balloon molly, a regular old black molly, 2 guppies, and 2 kuhli loaches. 2 days ago he decided to look for new fish to add, and He bought 3 red tail sharks because he has had them before and enjoys them. He then decided, against my advice, to buy 2 dwarf puffers. I stood right there as the owner of the LFS told him that they weren't agressive fish at all, they weren't bred to be. I laughed at this and told him it was a bad idea to add them to his already overflowing amount of fish. So my question is, was I right?

Yeah, there is an unfortunate "I told you so" in Fred's near future. Poor fishies.

just the three red tail sharks by themselves in that tank would be a disaster

from my knowledge red tailed sharks are only supposed to be 1 in each tank unless very large, is this correct? they harrass eachother right? could be wrong. so if the 2 dwarves go in the ten, he still has major problems. why wouldnt he listen to you?

I figured as much, He won't listen to me because apparently I have no experience with them so I know nothing.
I don't know how I can get through to him, guess he is gonna have to learn the hard way.
I'd hate to see it come to that, but I know its the only way he will understand that what I'm saying is true.
