Hey All,
First off, Thank you all for your kind words.................. I miss my sweet pea soooo much. IDK what to do with myself I have been by her side 100% for over 2 years. There's this wide open gap in my heart that I will never be able to fill, I would never want to.
When we thought Sophia was cured, the make a wish foundation presented Sophia with an amazing 150 Gal setup, the plan was to place a fahaka puffer into it for Sophia, but when I was looking
under my new home, I realized the foundation had a HUGE hole, So we went about getting quotes for it to be fixed, And while we were waiting for the men to start working, I went about ordering a fahaka for Sophia.
Well the men never showed, and would not return our calls, that is about the time Sophia started to show signs of the cancer returning. (And it had) They said there was nothing they could do, and that she would most likely not see her b-day on the 12th of july, well as usally Sophia proved them wrong, she waited till the 13th. She pased away with me holding her hand at 9:30pm.
To say that was the most painful thing I have ever had to endure is a understatment.
I still cry offen, at least once an hour, seeing as it has been only 2 days. I was told writing her story down would help me to move on................ Well mybe i don't want to?????
Well i did at one point decided to sell the setup...................But something in me is telling me not too. So for now I will keep it, I plan on getting a sightly bigger tank for sam as he grows, We are planning on either getting the foundation fixed or moving to somewhere with a basement. Either way. We are keeping the setup and sam.

She loved sam so much, anytime she was able she would walk over to his tank and point and giggle at him, HE would come right up to her finger. Near the end, she couldn't even walk anymore.
As you can see by the pic of her when the tank arrived, She loved it, the smile on her face is proof.
IDK why i posted all this, I guess i needed to vent it out, I hope you all don't mind??
I miss her so much.

I think it's a really good idea to keep him. It will always remind you of her smile. Do you want me to delete your FS thread?

IDK when we can set this one up, I will try and find a little bigger tank then he has now money's pretty tight, I have a huge filter on his current tank and its a 18 inch square tank, so he has some room, but he is getting pretty big, so something needs to happen soon.

What do you need to get that tank up and running. I think a 150 would be big enough for life for a fahaka

Thats a kind thought, but when it comes to donations of any kind I am a be shy, During the first year of sophia's treatments I let another forum do donations, Which was awesome of them.
But it back fired on us, as we used the donations for gas, meds and food well me and sophia were in Toronto, When Sophia got out of treatment we decided to buy a house and a truck as our
van lease was up.
Well some of the PPl on the other forum accussed us of using donation money for the house and truck which we did not.
Sorry i would feel a bit weird accepting donations now. I am not opposed to it, I am just "Once bitten, Twice shy"

I don't know if I can speak for every one on this forum, but since this would be donations in your daughters memory, I think that the use of the donations would be at your discretion. I highly doubt any of the people here would accuse you of misuse of those funds. We would love for you to live as best of a life you possibly can after such a painful loss.

Well if you guys want to help out, I guess that would be okay. We were gonna sell this house and move but I can't, There's just to much of her here, I don't want to lose her.
Edited by LilGreenPuffer. Please PM Mr. H. for this information if you wish to discuss donation.
Thank you all, so much I promise you whatever is given will go to Sophia only!
