Abei Puffer

Well I have had my Abei Puffer for about 3 weeks now.
She has been on a rams horn snails and feeder fish due to thats all she is willing to eat.
Tried frozen everything I think.
My water parameters are all 0 excep for nitrates are .05 or something like that.
I have my friend check it due to me being colorblind
Water temp is at 78-81 degrees and the only thing she wants to do is hide.
Sensative to light?
Not happy with me?
Not sure why but she wont even swim around the tank
She is the only thing in the tank, She does a little swimming when its dark but goes right back to the corner when the lights come on.
Anyone have any clues.?

Abei's are more a dusk/dawn hunter, then tend to hide during the day or when the lights are on. Which is why I am going to pull out all the live plants and put fake ones in so I can just turn on the kitchen light which will give me enough to see him but not bother him. Also it took my Abei about 3-4 weeks before he would come out when i walked up. Now he follows me around the room and is always begging for food
Try feeding earthworms, feeders are HORRIBLE for fish to eat. They cause fatty liver and your abei will die due to it. Also when trying to get them to eat something new, with hold food for a day or two so you know they are good and hungry then drop in a live earthworm or piece of shrimp tied to fishing line(so you can make it move and look alive).
OH PS..............PICS NOW lol

Best pictures I can get right now-- Cost $15 bucks I bought 2 they started fighting and have a lady here at the office that is like a fish whisper. Has more tanks than the pets stores and says he is doing great in his new home..
So this one is hanging out at the office with me.. I got this one when my DP passed away about a month ago.
I just wish this one would swim more. She is Lazy......

I have an idea. You said this fish is at work with you? Since they are mostly nocturnal, maybe you could switch its nights and days and get an LED moonlight. Maybe then she'll swim around while you are at work under the moonlight. You could put a background on the back and maybe sides to keep the ambient light out. What size tank is she in?

I've never seen that color before!

I'm not sure it's an abei though. The snout is too short. Have a look at the pics in the PufferPedia.

I cant find any that resemble "Sunny" any better. If you have a better idea of that she is then I am all for it..

Sunny is in a temp tank here at work... 55gallon tank had to be torn down.. In the process of moving due to divorce..

So since my puffer at the office passed away she has been up here with me at work..
:Insert: Flame war about how the tank is to small ---- I know I know I get it...
i had a mangrove root in there for her to hid in but i went to clean it the other day and some paint came off. So I have to take it back and get it swapped out.
