Last night, I came home and turned the light on in my tank and saw Ralphie my bigger GSP upside down in one of the fake plants. At first I thought something happened to him, but when i opened the lid he flipped over and swam up the the top to beg for food. He was obviously sleeping because his spots were white, they do that when he sleeps.
Is this normal or is he just particularly weird?

I'd agree with the rest here. As long as he was ok upon waking, don't worry. I mean, how many crazy ways do people sleep..I end up upside down some nights too!

You wake up on the ceiling too? I hate when that happens...

Keep an eye on the puff for a few days. There might be a small amount of trapped air in his belly.

I saw he doing it again this morning. He is acting find when he is awake,so i think he just likes to sleep like that.
