F8 food question

Do F8s eat ghost shrimp?
I bought 5 today and put 2 in with my snails (hopefully the shrimp don't eat snails) one shrimp has eggs and I doubt I'll be able to make more shrimp out of them I hear they need microscopic foods for the younglings.
I put 3 in with my F8 and he seemed uninterested. I just got home from a little outing and my lights were out (6pm) and I took a glance in there and I can't find any of the shrimp. I'm hoping he ate them since that was what was intended.

Yes figure eights eat ghost shrimp. However, if you want to feed them to your puffer again try gut loading them. (Feed them algae wafers so your puffer get its vegetables too). Also, you may just not see them right now though, you may find they're still in the tank. They shouldn't last for long though.

Idk about the F8, but my gsps mostly left ghost shrimp alone. They did, however, eat ones that were really old and weak, I used to put the ones that were "over the hill" in there and they would munch down, but the active swimmers got left alone. I agree that if yours does like em, you should feed them some greens, even puffers need their veggies and let's face it... we don't see em munching the plants much.

well 2 of the three I put in there ate some fish flakes from my snail tank before I put them in there. I only saw one ghost shrimp in there today so I think he got the other two.

Well the point of putting them in there was for them to be eaten by albie. So if he ate them then its my good luck I would think.
