Hi,

I have a new porcupine puffer in my marine tank, he was been in ther just under a week.

Initialy he was very timid but is now getting more settled. I put food in at night when the other fish were sleeping initially to encourage him to feed.

He is a bit fussy , i have tried krill, mysis, chopped cockle and mussell and live shrimp, is there any other food thet he may like an would help bulk him up a bit ?

The other fish leave him well alone after initalling being curious which is good, how long do these fish normally take to adjust?

Mine was pickey too. Ive had him a month , now he eats alot more . Try tying a crayfish or emerald crab and see what he does. My petey was only eating ghost shrimp at first . this past week he has has 1 large crayfish and 2 days later ,He took out an emerald crab. I still give him gut loaded ghost shrimp, but ive been cutting him back on him cuz the harder shelled foods are better for his teeth.
