-What size tank is best for one Congo puffer?
-Can they have a planted tank? If so, what kinds of plant are ideal for them?
-What's the recommended brand/volume of sand substrate?
-Is there a recommended brand/model of filter?
-What's the best staple diet for them?
-How do you go about vacuuming the sand?
-How do you clean/change the filter media without removing the nitrifying bacteria?
-WHERE the HELL can I get one???

-Most importanly, can you please answer from personal experience?

Check out the many articles we have in the Library here, on the suvattii (Pignose/Arrowhead) puffer. Identical care.

Also, read our feeding articles, especially the ones on getting them off dead foods.

congos are awesome pufferpunk is right its basically identical care as the arrowhead/pignose

i just wanted to say about the sand dont go and buy expensive crazy sand for the LFS hit up home depot or lowes thats where i got my sand, 50lbs of it for 3 dollars compared to 30 dollars for "aquarium sand" and my arrowhead always digs little holes and lays in it or trys to hide in it

i wanted a bit of color so i baught a 10 LB bag of colored and mixed it with the top layers of regular sand to make it look better, going cheaper in this situation is way better
