Grrr... 10 days no internet....

ohhh I can rant for a long time on this one...
The short story is: a few people made a few mistakes and we went without for quite a long time. Really ticks me off!

I would be fine as long as work was over. I'd be upset if work was still going on, I'd worry. Now, if I was still working and just couldn't go on the internet then I wouldn't care

I was on the phone will Bell Canada almost every single day.
By Thursday I'd had it. Their tech support call center is in southern India, and the billing department is in the Caribbean. Each department claimed it was the other's responsibility and trying to get a hold of someone local to flip the "on" switch was almost impossible. When the local tech called me on Friday to say it had been turned back on, he couldn't believe that it took 10 days to get the work order (for a 2 min job).
It frustrates the hell out of me to think of all those jobs lost to the other countries which should, in fact, be in Canada.

sounds like us here in the US.....I dont think I have ever spoken to someone in the US when I needed customer support
And I wents nuts with out net for 3 days when I moved. Now Id just go to my GF's lol and hang out there LOL

I hate Bell. We recently had to deal with them when switching internet companies and it took well over a week to get anything done. Now they won't stop harassing us to switch to them even though we keep telling them to leave us alone. Between Bell and Rogers...

I have internet at my apartment office, and at my husband's office, and I'm very rarely at either one. So my only internet has been my android phone for about 6 months or longer, the internet cable bill was ridiculous and we switched to the apartment's "free wireless". It pretty much never works, and if it does work, it parties like it's 1999.
