Id say 3-4 times a week.

You can feed clams on the halfshell, market shrimp with shells on, crayfish, rockshrimp if you can find them(not sure where you live).

It wont wear his teeth down but you can do earthworms every now and then as a treat too

A sedentary fish like that is good to feed 2x/week. I've never seen those species with overgrown teeth. My miurus will only eat live worms.

Several good articles on your species in our library.

Feed him until his belly is slightly rounded. Try a variety of foods:

I believe the last article didn't work out well...

thats what i do with all of my other puffers but to my surprise this 1 eats until he not hungry anymore, he will eat most of what i give him and than will leave some left over and if i try to give him a new piece thinking maybe he just doesnt want the left overs he wont touch it
