Would it be safe or healthy to feed a puffer ants, vegetables or fruit?

Also, I tried to feed my two GSPS some ghost shrimp, but they suck at hunting

I have fed ants to danios etc only when I know they are clear of pesticides so don't see why not I also regularly feed peas to all my fish. Hope this helps
