I bought 2 of these gallons at walmart. is this water ok to use for water changes? I wanted to make sure before mixing up all of my Instant Ocean with them. Having 2 gallons of sea water to mix in with fresh water will be a lot easier than mixing up an exact amount of salt every time for water changes!
oops, it says advanced filtration(was cut off on right)

From what I understand with full marine water you want to just filter out all of the "stuff" in water and then you get a perfect balance of the "stuff" wanted from the salt you mix up. It probably depends on how high end brackish you are mixing but if it is just light end brackish you might risk not having enough of the "stuff" in the water since the water you are using has nothing in it and you are only getting a fraction of the nutrients and such from your sea water. I am not totally sure on this though so don't burn me if I am wrong.
