Ive recently got a Porcupine Puffer in my 30g FOWLR . ( I know he needs a bigger tank) . He is only eating live shrimp at the moment . I have tried hermit crabs with no luck , and frozen shrimp and clams , He just lets them sit there ! Any ideas on getting him a better diet ! Ive done a lot of research on him but nothing on weaning them off live food . Dont mind feeding him the live shrimp but it will be easier if I can get him onto some frozen food . ( as a side note ) When the bigger tank is set up about 100g , What are some decent tank mates , Ive read trigger, Lionfish and eels are good mates . Any thoughts !

not eels as the puffers will nip at their eyes ( you mentioned that as a possible tank mate you where considering) I would try feeding it live clams then ween it onto frozen ones.
