bought the 10g tank alone about 10 days ago from petco, made sure there were no big visible flaws, but didnt bother to check for little cracks or chips cause i was in a hurry to get it fixed up to move my dps and eel loaches out of the 20g... it is covered by the silicone on the inside... could i just seal up that corner on the outside with my aquarium silicone without having to worry about it later on? or should I just exchange it for another? its about half an inch big

edit: heres the link to the full pic if its cutting off the rightmost part... http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/h ... uarium.jpg

I did something similar to the corner of my tank when I was laying it down. I filled the whole corner with silicone on the inside and haven't had any problems

lol, i don't like petsmart, but petco is ok since they stopped selling big parrots. and since i got my current cockatiel from them 5 years ago, i cant complain... i just buy supplies there though, not anything living anymore.

i had a tank that the seems were off. luckily like yours it was small and only a 20 high and it was towards the bottom so as soon as i started filling it up it came right back out slowly! i got it from the pet store i worked at so i had no problem trading it in and the owner threw me some gravel :)
