New GSP help

I purchased a green spotted puffer (~2 inches) and am confused on how much salt to add to the tank...

So i already have some Sera mineral salt for water hardening. I used to use this for my african cichlids. The directions say to add aprx 5 g for each 100 liters to result in a carbonate hardness of 0.6 dH.

I am quite confused on all these different terms.

I have a kH test kit that is reading that my water is at 4 dKH.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum!!!

What kind of salt? Typically it should be a marine salt mix. That raises the SG to accommodate their brackish conditions.

Sera mineral salt is not the same as marine salt. Do you have a hydrometer?
