How to train Congo puffer in taking dead food?

dead food such as frozen bloodworm, prawn bought from supermarket or even pellet. :?

so far my congo puffer reject taking frozen bloodworm and prawn, it even reject a dead feeder fish when i try to feed it using a tweezer, the puffer just swallow and spit it out instantly. :shock:

Well

I had no luck in frozen food feeding

did you try frozen silverfish, tie them down and play to see if he will eat?

guess i must be more patient on training my puffer, its me vs congo puffer time :)

will definitely try frozen silverfish :)

Start with live worms (mine loves earthworms) & then try mixing in dead (frozen, defrosted in garlic water).

tie your dead food on the end of a long cotton thread and drag thru the water as if its alive, your puffer will eat it!

ok i have successfully feed my puffer with some prawn meat, but it doesn't really eat alot, just like 1/2 of the prawn. :)

maybe it is small eater, 3 inch congo. :)
