Help! Is that air in his belly?

Hi peeps,
I just got a new baileyi for just $40 (approx 32USD) in Singapore. That's the good news.

The bad? His belly looks like there is some air in it!
I'm not very sure cos I've never had a puffer filled with air. In fact, the baileyi looks only semi-filled with air.

I've seen him puffed up once in the wee hours of the morning... And he was huge. Nothing like it is now.
He's panting hard for the last hour or so. And he was eating well before this.

Should I just leave him?
Here's a picture of him. I really hope he's alright and it's just me being paranoid. :(

***Oh no! In my hurry, I posted in the wrong forum! Can any kind mod please shift my thread for me? Sorry for the trouble.***

It's possible... or just ate a big meal. How is he swimming?
He's beautiful, BTW, congrats!

Yeah, he's not too hairy, but a decent amount of it. And one of his pectoral fin was chewed off before I got him. I hope it's growing out NOW. LOL

I didn't feed him too big a meal. Just a small piece of prawn meat, the same size as yesterday, which shouldn't have caused that bulge.

He doesn't seem to have any difficulty swimming, and he lies at the bottom without having to constantly swim downwards to maintain his position.

Is he going to be alright?
Or is it totally "wait and see"?

Thanks Pufferpunk. :D

Probably his meal & not air.
