Hitchhikers sprouting up

I just noticed today these little clear polyps or starfish looking things start sprouting up on my aquarium glass. they are tiny and i cant seem to get a good pic yet but when i do i will post it but they are tiny and have a round white center with like 7-10 arms around it that are "hairy" looking and clear if anybody has a clue what it might be and if it is harmful please let me know

Stop worrying, I rarely find anything harmful in any of my reef tanks.

lol ok i was just wondering what they were never saw any thing untill today i was cleaning and noticed like 6 of them clustered in pairs in different spots

guess im just always over reacting with stuff since its my first SW tank and all...seems like everyday i find something new and then spend 2 hours on here trying to research it. Think wife is gonna shut off internet if i keep this up haha

You're going to continually find all sorts of goodies coming out of your LR. I once spotted a long spinning worm dart across my tank in my flashlight beam.

heres the pic its a hydroid lol thx PP ur just as useful as google .... actually better since I dont have to sift through the bs that google brings up sometimes haha

yes i have noticed that they multiply and quickly lol should i just scrape them off glass or just leave them alone

You indeed have hydroids if you see the creatures from the WWM site:

Also, they are notorious for killing mushrooms and ricordea. The best method for removal is to remove the rocks you see them on and dip in FW for one hour. Then rinse and return to tank. Before you do this please remove any corals you want to keep ads they will not survive this dip. It is possible that the hydroid survives and if so, repeat a second time.
You should be able to see the hydroids and select the infected rocks. If they are in the sand bed than you should siphon out those sand grains and replace with new.
