just curious how much and how often you guys feed your fahaka? i do 3 or so mussells/ 1 large prawn etc etc every other day. was feeding every day but he looked very fat and was lethargic, since swapping to every other day he is less lethargic but still likes his corner lol. want to find a crayfish or similar but are impossible to get where i live. can get blue lobsters or rock shrimp but at £15 a go that would be a rare treat lol. plus is a blue lobster safe as food? can i feed crickets? sorry lots of questions but want to vary diet as much as poss to keep him happy. thanks guys, love the forum

Krill because of its high nutritional values, market shrimp, scallops, live earthworms, live night crawlers and live crayfish. All are 100% raw in not alive.

My 12" fellow gets 2 good meals/week & smaller snacks when the other fish are fed every other day.

Have a big pack of frozen krill he refuses to eat it, what are night crawlers? He loves earthworms I hate the squelch he makes with them.

Kaya is about 20+ cm including tail. She gets her meals every other day or after 3 days a bit depending on how big her last meal was.

I feed her Black tiger shrimp the size divers. Crabs legs and scissors. Dutch mussels depending on their size 2/4 per meal (now have a box with small ones). Found some Calamaris on the market the other day at first she didnt know what to do with it but now she devours them. All foods are raw and frozen.

Somehow the ramshorn snails keep dying on me really dunno why lol. I got some applesnails from a dutch forum for free, will those also do the trick?

I never tried earthworms, altough i have plenty in my veggie garden.
