I have tried blackworms, shrimp, snails and an earthworm. She won't eat a thing . She looks likes she's hunting all day but won't try anything I have offered. Any help appreciated.

When I got TaterTot, all she had been eating were goldfish. I started with guppies & worked my way to earthworms & then blackworms. She may also need tome to adjust to her new surroundings.

Thanks. I meant to post this in freshwater puffers. I'm trying to find someone with some fry...I don't know what else to do. Gonna go get some ghost shrimp tomorrow. She is just so unbelievably tiny and looks so fragile...I hate to see her not eat.

Do you know if she was eating at the shop?

Not sure why that double posted. She said she was eating thawed shrimp and the fish were in there for her to "nip at". I have a feeling she was doing more of the "nipping at" rather than eating the shrimp

Not really sure how to go about this though. I mean even if I get them from a healthy tank doesn't mean they won't have ip's. There is really no time for qt. Guess it's a risk I have to take??? Wish I would have kept my guppy tank now....

People are stupid! Been advertising on craigslist that I need fry and someone keeps flagging it. Figured it would happen. I can guarantee the person that is the flagger eats meat and uses animal products daily. Do people not understand that in the wild fish eat other fish. Oh wait!!! I forgot about all the natural growing fish flake that are in the water!!!! ....end of rant....

Just don't say what they're for. Although that flagger is already onto you... Guppies are always tank bred--little chance they'll have IPs. Just don't get them from a tank full of dead/dying/sick ones. Be sure to gut-load them too.

I shouldn't have said why I need them...guess I was trying to be honest. One person already contacted me. He's gonna try to get me some jack dempsy fry from his brother...would jd fry be okay?

I found some TINY endlers and neons at a lfs. I hate to feed her the endlers...they are beautiful!

IT WORKED...IT WORKED!!!! She ate two of the neons! She was hunting the bag when they were floating! I let my daughter keep one of the endlers...for now. Isn't it bad for her to only eat fish? I'm gonna try to train her to other foods but what if it doesn't work? Will fish be okay long term since she is a piscavore?
