I like your aquascaping. I don't like crushed coral though.

I didn't say aragonite. CC is too large & will need regular cleaning around & under all decor/rocks or nitrite will be a problem. well the problem with crushed coral in a reef is that it traps too much debris. Detritus settling in a tank can create nitrate and even too much can cause ammonia/nitrite. Also, the live critters that live in sand & eat detritus don't generally host in there.

So u think I should switch it....seems like a hassle but if its worth it I will

Lol ok will pick up some sand tom does it matter if I get some larger grains though I just don't like the sugar fine stuff

Yeah, just move it all over to one side. Although I think I'd just put it in a bucket of tank water & scoop the CC up in a big net.
