I can't decide if I should go with a community tank or a DP tank. I'm not sure because I could only have 2 fish in the tank if I get DPs. What do you think I should do?

You could keep a few other fish in there. I've got a type of kuhli loach (Vietnamese) & otos with my pair of DPs.

In a 10g. really? hmm... I think I may have finally decided what I'm getting.

I'm gonna start breeding blackworms.

They require very shallow, cool, well oxygenated water. Home breeding is a major project. I knew a guy who tried ten 10-gallon drilled tanks with overflows with I/2" of sand and 1"of water over it, constant drip supply. He had a hard time feeding two rainbow tanks from that set-up.

Most folks use substrate free plastic boxes with paper towels (unbleached) and frequent water partials, cleaning. I tried that and quit quickly - it was a nightmare to clean.

Well I heard that DPs favor blackworms as food so if not breed than what?

I just bought a pound at my LFS for $20. You can easily get them on frozen.

Frozen or freeze-dried. Mine liked F-D plankton, too. Also, frozen mysis shrimp.

I've only used live, readily available at my LFS.

They are a primary conditioning food for my breeeding rainbows, so they are on hand almost all the time.

The only blackworms I can get within an hour of where I live is freeze dried. So live can only be occasional. Frozen works though cause I can use a cooler, and I can buy enough to last till next time I can get some.
