I am looking for someone that supplies cured Live Rock in Canada. I found a guy in Peterborough Ontario but he only has Fiji @$9.00 / lb

Where do you guys and gals shop?

Jim is located in Gananoque but he does make delievery runs as far as Belleville ( and possilbe farther if he is picking up in Toronto).
JP as PP always suggests, any reef clubs in your area, they usually have members selling LR cheap.

I have a feeling in my town there, my "reef club" is just me A trip to Belleville, Peterborough, or Toronto is doable a couple times a year.

I think he just made a trip up that way last week but send him an email as to when he will be up that way next. Tell him Steve from Roy's Pet Shop refered you.

I got the most of mine from a friend that broke down a 180 gallon reef. There is a place here in Winnipeg that carries LR, actually 2. The Fish Gallery is probably my favorite, but is excpensive for LR.

I suggest you look at Kijiji and such to find someone that is breaking down a large reef...

I was looking at Kijiji there are deals to be had out there certainly.
The goal was to get some stuff FOB (fresh off the boat) or plane as the case may be. Some stuff similar to http://www.livestockusa.org/ROCK.html

I would have ordered from them, but they do not ship to Canada The other option that went through my head last night was going direct. Contacting one of the exporters and see if they can send a box this way.

After looking at that list, I still know a few people in Borneo that may be able to send some but even on a plane it is a 20+ hour flight. The next option was Japan. The wife has a friend in Okinawa that may be able so send some. I am sure the locals there would think we're nuts "paying for rocks". haha

As I type this the Okinawa location seems doable. Okinawan Live Rock ... has a nice ring to it

You should advise us if you do get some. Perhaps you can send some to Winnipeg if it is really nice rock.

I don't know how far this would be to travel for you JP.
