Hey Guys

I'm getting an RO unit to use on my SW tank. I was thinking would my freshwater tank benifit if I used the RO water in it?

Thanks

it allows you to precisely control the values of your water. Depending on what's in there (the water and the tank) you may or may not deed it.

Unless you have crap water, don't bother wasting the filters. You'd have to replace the minerals taken out, too.

Strong +1 to PP's comments. Using RO for FW is a good way to make FW as expensive as SW. I have only done so to breed blackwater fish which cannot breed w/Ca and Mg in the water.
