They are highly nutritious, why not? They are unlikely to be a staple, too little crunch.

It didn't seem like puffers would eat things that don't usually move. So, if I put pond snails in my DP tank, the DPs might eat their eggs? I tried putting a few snails in to see if they would hunt them, but I think most of them arew still in there.

This is interesting stuff. I wish I had the room and money for a bigger puffer like a F8 right now. I can't wait until I can start up a brackish tank for one!

Most fish would like to eat delicious eggs. It's very nutritious.

Not most snail eggs, at least those in gel plaques such a Ramshorns and common pond snails - those are unpalatable to most fish. Nobody seems to eat Olive Nerite eggs in my tanks either.

But trying to breed snails in a puffer tank is generally a problem because the puffs eat the adult snails, not the eggs.

Fish eggs are a different matter.

Ya my one puffer ate almost all the eggs himself. The other 2 didn't really eat any. The one that ate all of them is the same one that always finds the snails, black worms, and any other food first. A fat little fellow.
I was glad he ate the eggs because I didn't want a ton of Corydoras in the tank.

Baby Cory cats are way cool. They do not look real to me.
