2.5 G Sea Monkey Playground! Set-up Query...

A friend got me one of those little Sea-Monkey kits for X-mas and I've still got quite a little swarm in there... I had a little Misgurnus (weather/dojo loach) in the 2.5 they're headed for that I had rescued from someone's bullfrog tadpole/ fancy goldfish tank, huge river stones for substrate, no sand
(!!!!), he had huge wounds on both sides and a bloody, ripped-up tail at first, but he LOVES bloodworms and live blackworms and got through QT pretty quickly, living happily w/ two other dojos.
ANYWAY his former 2.5 is now going to be dedicated to my little brine shrimp colony, I've got two huge "berried" adult females and one big male and a veritable horde of little'uns--it's just hard to keep them healthy in the stupid little tank they give you--I have really long hair and the cats' hair gets in there, too. I've got a bubble stone and some "decor" for them to swim around/under. I think it will be enriching/hilarious.
...What salinity should I mix for them? Tried to find info on that, but all the seemingly relevant sites want me to buy the Magic Packets. I think I could use marine salt, no? Whatdya think? Figured lots of you guys feed baby brines to seahorses or baby DP's and such.
