I read this article earlier tonight, he talks about 40 adults.
Quote"How do I feed the puffers? All my 40 truculent adults eat up to 2 lbs. of defrosted mussels or shell-on prawns instantly; I feed them every other day"
He must have an absolutely massive setup to house all of them.

perhaps "Are you crazy?"
All I want to know is the tank sizes.

Crazy, yeah maybe a little.
You read that bit about sorting them out into sizes so they don't pick on each other. Almost sounds like he's housing multiple fahakas in tanks i'll ask him what tank sizes and a few other questions. I'll setup a fake email from my work and see what I get back. No risk.

Yeah definitely keeping them all together. I have tried when they were young and they did alright, But this was only for a couple of months. I have seen others in LFS's where there is 2, one small mangled one and a larger, less mangled one!

Sounds like typical territorial behaviour, only experience I have had of that is Oscars, put 2 in a tank and you can guarantee after a few months one will become dominant and the other will have the crap ripped out of him, with several Oscars one doesn't seem to be singled out.
Settled then i'll send the email tomorrow and see if I get a response.

That article has been posted here a couple of times and I think several emails have been sent to him as well. I believe he responded once or twice. Search the archives and you should be able to locate the posts.

Yeah I read that a week or so ago. It's interesting to say the least but this guy must spend all his time doing this hehe

Not a bad thing really ^_^
Those fry are far to cute for their own good.

Guys,
haven't you seen this: "I have to maintain five tanks for all the fish"?
Why it was so a big question whether to email me or not?

Hi there, welcome to TPF! I'm sure folks here have lots of questions for you.

Welcome Dmuratov! I think the big question was how big the tanks are, not how many. Considering it takes a good 100+ gallons to properly house one Fahaka, it seems a HUGE task to try to keep several together, adding in the problem of territory and hostility.
As far as emailing, there are a lot of weirdos on the web and a lot of people don't like to give out their "real" email addresses. Not to mention it could be looked at as "bothering" you.
