Alright so I started a 10g about a month ago for my betta. So in my crawfish tank I have a few ramshorns that have gotten quite larger and i didnt want them to get taken out by a crawfish some day, so they were moved to my betta tank. Ok so here is my problem, I dont want them to breed lol. I know them not breeding is impossible so my question is, is there anything I can put in the tank that will wipe out the small ones but not kill the big ones? I know its a long shot but Im curious

Snails breed. You cannot fight Mother Nature. A stable food chain is not possible in a ten gallon tank, or for that matter in single tanks of any size.

He already stated that he knows they will breed. He is looking for something to eat the young ones.

A kuhli loach might help to eat up the smaller snails,...but there is no guarantee it wont go after the larger ones too. I had great success using kuhlis to control the snail population in many tanks.

You could pic the small ones with a feeding tong or tweezer. Then you could feed them to DPs in a different tank.

Ya I know they will breed, I like the big ones not the small ones. I was thinking kuhli loaches, do they eat snails like puffers sucking them in and crushing them, or do they just eat the snail by sucking it out of the shell?

kuhli loaches will crunch the small ones but they may go after the larger ones too

Keeping a snail predator is an option which may or may not be suited to a small tank. Loaches such as kuhlis should be in groups for health and security. I would consider keeping a singleton to be animal cruelty and would never do such a thing or suggest it on the forums. NIMFT

Sure, that's a good number. Gravel is fine.

I didn't hear anyone mention keeping only one? He gets funnier every day.
