So I think its very likely that my GSP has some sort of internal parasite. I read Pufferpunk's article on them and heard about the product discomed in it. My question is I can't seem to find it. Is there another product that would work as good? My parents hate buying offline, so thats an unlikely method of obtaining it. Do petsmart or petco usually carry them?

Jungle Parasite Tabs work well and you can buy them in Petsmart. Put 1/4 tablet in 1/4c of water with food and let soak for several hours then feed.

Discomed used to be the best product because not only did it have an anti-parasitic in there, but also an antibiotic to treat secondary internal bacterial infection, caused by the parasite tearing through the internal organs. Unfortunately, that company went out of business about 10 years ago. If we had more Tech Staff here, we could update some of our articles.

No wonder I couldn't find it.

AFAIK Discomed, had a subsidiary called "discogravel". I know PP and her puffer Filbert are in high regard of it
