So I am creaping closer to full marine with my 75 gallon GSP tank. I am giong to start to set up a sump and am in the market for and overflow and reture pump. I don't really have much of an idea as to what I am looking for. I have found this one on ebay, will that work alright for me? Thanks for any advise and opinions.

My problem with overflows is just that--eventually they over flow.

Nobody's nerfect.

I am an overflow nut - I have and operate quite a number of them.

There is likely no form of tank linking that I have not tried and/or used for years. SFAIK, there is no technique which is perfect. All of the available techniques have failure modes, and I have had floods from most or all of them.

FWIW, my current favorite for linking tank at different levels is the CPR overflow boxes. They seem pretty well designed and easy to maintain with good safety margins.

Thank you for your help. I think I have decided that I am just going to keep my eye out for a pre-drilled tank with a built in overflow.
