When doing a 50% weekly WC on my tank.
Im getting lots & lots of microbubbles when Im filling my tank back up.

Im using a hose attached to my taps.
Is there anyway I can reduce/eliminate the bubbles?
Or anything I can put on the end of the hose?

Just worried there may be a risk to the fish because of so many bubbles, they cover all my plants, ornaments as well

i dont think it would be a concern to the fish
its just like an extra shot of oxygen in the water?
if anything it might be good for the tank

As far as I understand those are nitrogen bubbles due to the quick increase in temperature and potentially pressure changes. They aren't a good think but they are hard to avoid unless you age your water. When we do water changes we make sure that there is a lot of turbulence in the new water to help reoxygenate the water and get rid of the nitrogen. We also turn the filters on as soon as possible to increase water movement/turbulence.

It actually may cause micro-embolism in the fish (comparable to the bends in divers). The greatest hazard is during the time of year when the groundwater and pipe network are at their coolest temperature of the year - this time of tear in the north temperate zones.

If you can aerate the water while filling, the pressure release will reduce the dissolved gas load. Or if you use buckets, you can aerate strongly while filling the buckets. That helps in the same way.

Personally, that is one of the reasons why I age all of my water. After aging, all of the off-gassing is ancient history.

i used to use buckets
started filling up with the hose to avoid using buckets

if i fill the tank up slower, and reduce the pressure coming out of the tap helps abit, but not much
i do turn on filters straight away to try and get rid of them.
doesnt take long to clear after the filters are back on, fahaka seems ok.

The bubbles start as one particular dissolved gas (usually whatever is most supersaturated), but other dissolved gases quickly join in the same bubble (it is easier than starting a new bubble), so they do end up with something close to normal air inside.
