f8 puffer advice

my f8 puffers are doing great and feeding well....so well they chomp and distroy every plant in the tank, will they do this if i add plastic plants and if so will it hurt, kill them? they are well fed but in the mornings they have attacked all plants and lots of floting bits and holes in evrypart of the plant...

Try giving the puffs dried nori or other seaweed in a veggie clip. Not all puffers will take such green food, but it is beneficial for those that do so.

Some puffer will tolerate plants while others will destroy even plastic ones.

In the wild, their food (snails) are hunted & found on leaves of plants.

And the follow-up to PP's post is that in nabbing the snails, they do commonly get bites of plant material.
Once you have seen puffer bites on plants, they are identifiable. You can also tell the difference between puffer bites on plants and Clown loach bites on plants. Both are from snail gathering rather than direct attacks on the plants themselves.
