hello,
starting my FOWLR in the morning, whats the best salt level for a fowlr tank, is going to house 2 x GSP,
i am going to bypass brackish and add atraigt to a marine tank (after cycling),
do i have to use RO water or can i use tap water and marine salt to mix this as is only for 2 x GSP'S and no inverts or corals!!
thank you

should 1.018 be ok for 2 x gsp and live rock

Especially without a clean up crew I highly suggest RODI water, unless you love algae covering everything in your tank. I'd also try for 1.020.

I would consider just getting one GSP for your 200l- 54 gallon daffydase. Ask PP she had two in a 55 gallon and that felt wasn't enough room for them.

Don't forget the difference in UK & US Gallons. 55UK is approx 66US.

That is in US gallons. We're both Canadian (trekenk and I) and there are approximately 3.8L per US gallon.

I could be wrong but I don't think I am to far off 200 liters = 54.84 US gallons ?????

But then, a 55 gallon tank does not hold anywhere near 55 gallons US or otherwise.

yeah, i think youre just kind of pushing it there with the 55 "US" gallons lol
but it would definitely be nice for just one of them, with plenty of space for the little guy
and if your getting them and putting them right in salt water, make sure that you acclimate properly because there most likely going to be in FW at the LFS

To keep everything which is 'live' happy on the live rock keep it at their natural 1.025SG, there is no reason to keep it any less than that.
