Hey all! Its been a while since i have posted. I have been lurking a bit, but have been pretty busy these last couple months. My boyfriend decided to take a dive into the fish hobby so i have been helping him out a lot. He picked up a 55 gallon that is being cycled atm, and plans to get a blue spot toby puffer and some other things in the near future. I have done a few things here and there, got some live rock to seed my dry rock a while back. I plan to get more in the future. There is also some sort of anemone hitchhiker i would like help identifying! They are tubelike, and one has green tentacles growing from it, and there is a cluster of about 5 of them. Well i will let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy.
Full tank shot

Hermit Crabs
Feather Duster
Bulb anemone
Another weird thing growing on my glass. Not sure what they are, but they are appearing everywhere!
tube worms on live rock
Help me identify these hitchhikers please!
Moe, my azure damsel
and . . . Happy little George

thanks! yeah he has stared at them closely, but i havent seen him nip yet. Him and my damsel get along fine (with an occasional chasing around the tank), and i havent seen him nip at the feather duster yet. He is a pretty calm puffer so far, but he is still a baby so im crossing my fingers!!

Looks nice.
George doesn't pick at the feather duster?
By the way, the critter on your glass (6th picture down) looks like a spirorbis worm. Harmless and very common.

thanks i was wondering about them i thought i could kinda see a feather duster type worm coming out of the spiral. they are popping up everywhere! I still am really curious about those tube anemone things. I cant find anything on the net that looks like them. They almost look like baby colored tube anemones.
I will post new pics soon, my boyfriend got me a t5 HO light for my tank and a blue tuxedo urchin for valentines day <3

Yep. They're filter feeders so that sounds about right. (:
As for the anemones, I really don't know. More pics would help.
That's quite the Valentines Day present!

yeah im pretty sure they are harmless, yet their numbers can get kinda crazy so i might need to start scraping some off (atleast the ones on the front).
Also, i think those unidentified "anemones" in my tank are actually zoas of some kind, they are starting to open up and they are an orangish color top with a green center.
