hi i have a 150l tank, it has live rock, live rock, ehiem external filter, tmc v2 300 skimmer, 2 powerheads and a heater,
i am looking tos tock this tank with
1 box or cow fish
1 x jewel puffer or a baby dogface puffer
1 x radiata or dwarf lionfish
2 x dartfish
some snails, im aware thses will probally get chomped up but, hay ho ill give it a go
are the fish im looking at compaterble? will they annoy the cow? now i no about the cows wiping out tanks, but my LFS says this is RARE and only normally hppens in transportation.....
is this true? does it take alot for a cow to become stressed and wipe out a tank and are the other fish ok to house with him? is my set up addiquate? i no the tank will not be big enough as the cow grows to adulthood as with the dog face but i plan to upgrade in a year.

You should wait to get those fish until you have a proper tank for them. Many people plan on upgrading but then life happens and they are no longer able to do it. It's best to introduce them into their permanent home in the very beginning.

a fussy dwarf will be fine in this tank for all its life and a jewel (toby) puffer would aswell, if a cow is compatterble with them he would be fien for maybe 3 years, and if i was unable to upgrade in size then i could re-home, but i am unable to find some to tell me if they can be housed in the same tank?

I wouldn't house a cowfish with other puffers or fish that could possibly harass it. if stressed it will emit a toxin which can wipe out everything, including itself.

I would only keep either 2 puffers or 1 puffer & 1 lion. It didn't matter when I added witch but the tank is HEAVILY decorated. Lions like to hang out under shelves of rock.
Also, you never know when you might get an aggressive, murdering puffer.

in your eyes is a blue face puffer a fish that never hides? i had a dogface but had to take hm back as they sold me a sick one, and he just hid in the rocks all the time except feeding, would you say its safe to have the 2 puffers or a lion and a puffer?

Yes, keep only 2 of your choices in there. The lion hides almost all the time. Puffers are more active & personable.

cheers i think i will go for a blue spotted and a valentini puffer, i have 2 dart fish that i love the look of but ALWAYS hide in the rock so i see them as abit of a waste of tank space, what other fish have you kept with puffers?

The darts are too delicate for puffers, IMO. I keep them with softie corals.

i have mushrooms in this tank, my lfs said darts would be too fast for puffers to catch to nip but i will move my dartfish to my reef tank, any other fish that can live happily with puffers?

You're really fully stocked with the 2 fish.
